Course Outline:

Our Medical Assistant Program is a 16-week course that includes Phlebotomy, and EKG training.  The medical assistant will learn basic human anatomy and physiology, disease process, medical terminology, preparation and administration of oral and injectable medications, draw blood, obtain and record vital signs, perform basic wound care, EKGs, demonstrate proper positioning and draping for patient procedures, and much more.  Excellent preparation for entry into any nursing program.
